Our Mission

Our mission is rooted in the belief that when people and communities reach their potential, we all thrive. We are deeply invested in the communities where we live and work and strive to serve our communities in an impactful and meaningful manner. Whether through in-kind donation of volunteer time or through direct financial support, our belief is that our success as a community bank depends on the well-being of our communities. We value the opportunity to be a part of each community we serve.

Every year, our employees and directors give generously of their time and talents to volunteer across the community in which we serve. Last year, our colleagues provided more than 2000 hours of volunteer service to local organizations. In addition, the bank and our employees financially supported more than 200 non-profit and community organizations. We focus on volunteering our services to organizations that serve the following areas: Affordable Housing, Community Services, Economic Development, Community Revitalization and Stabilization, as well as various other community organizations.

Community Reinvestment Act

Community Reinvestment Act (CRA)

A bird's eye view of a city

The Community Reinvestment Act was enacted in 1977 with a worthy goal of encouraging banks to help meet the credit needs of the communities in which they operate, including low- and moderate-income neighborhoods.

To accomplish this objective, banks are evaluated on their record of helping to meet the credit needs of their communities, and the results are made available to the public.

Oak Valley & Eastern Sierra Community Bank serves the community by lending to small businesses and community organizations, investing and donating capital to meaningful programs, and employees offering their time voluntarily to the community.

We are proud to have earned an "Outstanding" rating for Community Development on our most recent CRA Evaluation —the highest rating a bank can receive.

We are committed to our mission and values and will continue delivering the highest standard of customer service and products to the communities that we serve.
